What should I bring to my tattoo appointment or consultation?

Updated: Aug 7, 2022

Consultations are pretty easy and straightforward! At that appointment we will sit down with you for 20-30 minutes to go over your tattoo ideas in detail. A solid concept is helpful, but we're happy to work with you if you've only got a few rough ideas at this point. We're not usually going to tell you what to get if you've got no ideas at all, however.

Getting tattooed takes a lot of fuel from your body, so be sure to eat a big meal about an hour or so before you are getting tattooed, even if you don't normally eat that way or that time of day. We can't stress enough how important and helpful this is prior to getting tattooed.

If you'll be laying on a table while getting your tattoo, please feel free to bring along a blanket and pillow for comfort. A stress ball or fidget toy of some kind can help keep you focused on something besides the tattoo.

Each station has a TV with several streaming options, we have constant music, and we do our best to engage in conversation while we're working with you, but we aren't offended if you'd like to wear headphones while you listen to your own music or watch a show on your phone or tablet.

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered, so please be sure to communicate with your artist about cost and method of payment prior to getting started.

As always, feel free to reach out to any of us if you have any questions or concerns. We're usually in the studio and tattooing 7 days a week, but typically with someone from open to close and are by appointment only. We aren't always able to get to the phone, so if you leave us a message, we'll get back to you as soon as we're able. Thanks! - L
