What a Trip!
Hey there, Everyone!
I hope that you're having an epic spring and are ready to rock the socks off of this summer!
My wife and I just returned from an incredible journey to her cousin's wedding in Ireland, and to see my old stomping grounds in Scotland along the way.
This trip was one for the books, and will be hard to top. The wedding was the most amazing that we've been to! We met a lot of cool people, my wife saw family that she hasn't seen in many years (plus, we added a whole new branch!), and I got to meet up with my old mentors and had a fantastic visit with friends.
I've been getting back on track and will be back to posting more regularly, but with a bit less production, lol... I admit, I was getting a little carried away with my CapCut software. It's just too easy and fun to mess with.
Danielle, Jesse, Shawn, and myself all have time available coming up, so feel free to stop by or call today to chat, or to set something up.
As always, feel free to reach out to any of us or swing on in if you have any questions or would just like to check the studio out! =)
Someone is normally in between 10am-7pm, 7 days a week.
Thanks, and have an amazing week!
-Leif
On the way to Iceland! After a long flight, I like a good hardfisking! High end airline accommodations! All day Scottish Breakfast is where it's at! Midnight Dragon Tattoo, where I did my apprenticeship in 2001 Right across from the Salt Cot in Salt Coats Didn't get enough pics of this place, and none of the main areas My view when I was first learning here 3rd floor Gotta get those castles in! I've never seen this before
Driving and shifting on the other side is a blast! Sunset over Ayrshire
Glasgow for the day Old graveyard in Glasgow Love seeing the ages on these old memorials Every. Single. Day. ALLDAY These city streets hit different!
Bagpipers groovin the path the Edinburgh Castle Edinburgh Castle on its cliff My favorite human and adventure pal!
Edinburgh Castle towards the top ROYALE with cheese! And, of course, some Scottish NWA street art completes the day! I'm not pointing any fingers, but SOMEONE maybe set off the fire alarm with shower steam... I wasn't sure how to react, so I just left. We've all gotta do our part! Heading towards the highlands! Statue for Robert the Bruce at Stirling Castle The Wallace Monument is right down the road from Stirling Castle Let's castle some more! Incredibly impressive structures Inside the queen's receiving area
Where the queen would meet with visitors Must've been a fun build I practically scaled that wall Thought it was cool that it showed the castle on the GPS The Wallace monument, where his sword is kept, but it was closed for a wedding. Amazing view from up here Botanical Garden in Glasgow Really cool plant life and marble statues here The squirrels are just more dangerous here Glasgow University The Necropolis on top of the hill in Glasgow This castle was now just some farmer's driveway and grain storage ANCIENT stuff everywhere Kilkea (kill-key) Castle was built in 1180, and has had quite a history!
We were lucky enough to get a room in the main castle. Most epic trip and wedding ever Best wedding we've been to, hands down! They were printing this on top of the Guinness! awesome View from the castle restaurant of the rose garden where the wedding was held WOW An old friary in a small village called Castledermot, tucked behind the pharmacy
This place was also built around the 12th century My favorite stuff were all the hidden histories around every corner Just a pharmacy and a friary doing their thing Shopping center in Glasgow Downtown Glasgow Saw this in the Iceland airport and was surprised at their special process, lol... And a thistle tattoo for the missus to celebrate our journey!
The wife and I just returned from an epic journey to her cousin's wedding, and checked out my old Scotland stomping grounds, with plenty of in-between along the way.
